History

At the beginning of its establishment, the Faculty of Economics and Business UPR consisted of 2 (two) departments, which were the Department of General Economics known as the Department of Development Economics, and the Department of Corporate Economics known as the Department of Management. The Department of Management was established at the same time as the University of Palangka Raya, through Decree of the Minister of Higher Education and Educational Science Number: 141 on November 10^th, 1963. The first lecture began in March 1964 and was led by Mr. H. Timang, assisted by 8 (eight) lecturers and supported by secretariat staff led by Mr. H.F. Sahay
